Teaming up together for this classic offshore event is well known yachtsman Craig Middelton and Herbie Karolius. Between the two of them they bring a wealth of knowledge in offshore racing and having successfully skippered Merlin in the Fastnet Race,Craig is no stranger to offshore racing as well as having achieved a formidable result in the previous Mossel Bay Race on board Gumption. Herbie too is no stranger to offshore events having a finished a few Cape to Rio races and a fourth in the last Vasco Race and recently achieving a well deserved second place in the Hunter National sailed up country in March this year. Assisting this formidable duo will be Luke Scott who is also no stranger to the local racing circuit. Luke will be navigator and tactician for the event. The balance of the crew will be made up of the regular racing crew.
