For the MBR 2021 the boat will be named Sentinel Ocean Explorer, and will be flying the colours of the Sentinel Ocean Alliance.

Wallbanger is a Simonis 35 and announces her entry into the MBR2021. Although Wallbanger has entered many off shore races in her history, this is the first MBR for the most recent owner and we hope to finish the race with a good showing.

Shadowfax will be sailed by Bernard Farmer and Jason Mills, representing RCYC.

Shadowfax has various Offshore sailing trophies to her name, including Vasco 2018 and is the current West Coast Offshore B div winner.

Team Cape Dancer is well known on the yacht racing circuit in Cape Town, as a team introducing young novices, especially women to sailing.

TAM TAM is a Simonis 35 which was purchased by the present owner Jasper van der Westhuizen a Yachtmaster , in 2018 after participating at that time in a Wayward 36 named IZIMOYA II ,in one Vasco Da Gama Ocean Race and two MBR’s .
