SuidOos 2, a RCOD, built a good reputation on handicap in the Cape to Rio of 2006. Their crew of 4, skippered by Andre Scholtz, plans to concentrate more on the “challenge” part of MBR2018. They feel that since they could do with some more experience, they’ll be sailing very conservatively with the emphasis on enjoying the trip. They’ll have a careful look at the expected winds before finally deciding to depart. SuidOos is the smallest boat and they hope that other smaller boats will also still enter.
