Hailing all the way from St Francis and arguably the Vaal, Skipper Jasper van der Westhuizen has entered for the third time in a row and one of the race veterans. After much thought he has decided to get a new boat to replace his trusty Izimoya 2. His motivation was that he wanted a faster boat for the MBR and has recently bought the Simonis 35 Tam Tam. He is in the process of preparing her for the MBR. This brings another competitive boat to the start line. Welcome Back Jasper and good luck with your latest acquisition.
