JML Rotary Scout is a Tosca 36 that has had a scoop added to increase performance. This boat is very seasoned in sailing offshore with some 3 Cape to Rio Races, a good couple of Governors Cup’s to it’s name, A Vasco race and many coastal miles off our shore. Normally the crew is made up of Scouts(Youth) with two adults, one if which is the skipper. The JML has the longest running offshore youth training program in South Africa.. The skipper for the race will be the very experienced Peter Bosch. Peter has taken this boat across the Atlantic more times then anybody.
