Makers Mark is a First 40. Owner and Skipper Peter Rice purchased this boat with offshore sailing in mind, with him making certain improvements to the yacht to gain the best advantage. It is likely that Peter will put together a predominately FBYC experienced crew. Peter is well known for his attention to detail… and will be prepping his boat in readiness for this Offshore challenge. In last year’s event Maker’s Mark was so narrowly beaten by her sistership at the finish line making an exciting finish on her debut. This year Peter is hoping to be further up in the rankings.
